New Renaissance is Be Art’s biennial, centred on a question: what does it mean to be human in an age shaped by artificial intelligence? Through art, ideas and education, it invites us to reflect together on how we want to create, learn and live with one another.
The biennial brings together artists, scientists, humanists and professionals from fields such as architecture, music, dance and design to reflect together on the present. Its programme of conferences, exhibitions, performances and concerts connects disciplines and audiences to encourage conversation, the exchange of knowledge and critical thinking.
The official presentation of New Renaissance will take place on 4 November 2026 in the auditorium (Salón de actos) of the Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza in Madrid.

Be Art, the project behind the biennial
Be Art is a cultural, social and educational initiative bringing the arts closer to people. It brings together creativity, ideas and education in an approach that takes shape today through the New Renaissance biennial.
Our purpose is to educate through art: to awaken curiosity, cultivate sensitivity and open up new ways of understanding the world. We encourage dialogue between artists, educators and audiences to share knowledge, listen to different perspectives and support a culture of mutual respect.
Before Be Art, there was ArtinGroup. A selection of encounters that brought disciplines and audiences together in Valencia, Barcelona and Madrid.

Michael Nyman and new voices
Valencia, Spain
The first ArtinGroup Multidisciplinary Forum brought together artists including Michael Nyman, Norman Foster and Antonio López alongside new voices such as Felipe Pantone and Juan Vidal. The programme spanned cultural venues across Valencia and included a Nyman concert at the Palau de Congresos.
The second forum brought architecture and music to audiences in Valencia. The CCCC hosted exhibitions of Foster & Partners and the life and work of Maria Callas, while soprano Ainhoa Arteta performed at the Monastery of San Miguel de los Reyes.
The third and fourth forums connected Barcelona and Madrid as part of the Spain–Japan Dual Year. Toyo Ito and Rafael de la Hoz took part at CaixaForum Barcelona, and a gala at Cibeles Palace brought together dance, music and sculpture.
