Between the prophets of abundance and the prophets of doom, Be Art chooses discernment, dialogue, and agency. For us, the decisive question is not what machines will become capable of doing. It is what kind of world we will build around them, and what kind of human beings we will choose to become.

What is our place in the world to come?

What should remain beyond calculation and optimisation?

Who will determine the purposes of these technologies?

What makes a human life meaningful?

These are fundamental human questions. And today, they feel more urgent than ever.

We believe that human beings are not spectators of history. Technology does not determine its own course. Its direction must be consciously shaped by human choices: political, cultural, economic, ethical, and personal. Understanding those choices matters. Dialogue is not a delay; it is essential to shaping what comes next.

We believe that art is essential to this conversation. The most important questions we face are not technical. They concern meaning, values, identity, experience, and the ways we live together. Art gives us another way to approach them: through image and sound, language and silence, sensation and imagination. Machines may generate forms, but it is human experience that gives them meaning.

Be Art brings together art, philosophy, and public conversation. It creates a space in which artists, thinkers, researchers, and audiences can experience art, exchange perspectives, and confront the questions shaping our common future.

Our symbol is light: a sign of reason and enlightenment, but also of hope, clarity, and agency.
